5 Spooky Sundaes for Halloween

Try one of these fun and spooky combinations to make your next sundae a total scream.

Worms & Dirt Sundae

  • Chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • Chocolate Ice Cream. softened
  • Gummy Worms

Layer these three ingredients, and then slurp it down!

Ectoplasm Sundae

  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Pistachio or Mint Chip Ice Cream
  • Edible Eyeballs
  • Chocolate Syrup

Fill up your bowl or sundae glass with layers of puffy marshmallows, green slimy ice cream, eyeballs and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.  No crossing of the streams required.

Transylvania Float

  • Raspberry or Strawberry Jam
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Strawberry Soda
  • Chocolate Chips

It’s a little known fact that vampires like ice cream…especially when it’s red and gooey! Heat a couple of tablespoons of raspberry or strawberry jam in the microwave for 30-40 seconds to make a red, drippy sauce. Layer it with vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips in a sundae glass, then carefully pour on the strawberry soda. Add a straw so you can suck down every last drop!

Witch’s Brew

  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Green M&Ms (eye of Newt)
  • Grape Soda (Butterfly Juice)
  • Whipped Cream (Swamp Foam)

No Halloween would be complete without a little spooky brew. Vanilla ice cream, topped with eye of newt (green M&Ms), drowned in butterfly juice (grape soda), and topped with swamp foam (whipped cream) make for a brew any witch would be proud of.

Poisoned Apple Pie

  • Graham Crackers
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Apple Pie Filling
  • Red-Hot Cinnamon Candies
  • Caramel Sauce

Layer graham cracker pieces (or crumbs) with vanilla ice cream and canned apple pie filing. Sprinkle on a few cinnamon candies and a drizzle of caramel sauce for a dangerously delicious sundae.
